Friday night, the girl is sleeping at a friends house (breaks your heart a bit the first times..) and I have a date with a man. Oh, ok! MY man naturally. For the occasion I'd like to have my makup like Scarlett. I'd change the ring (we can do better!) but in my glass I definitely  see bubbles..! So what to wear..? It's funny how it's different dressing for a dinner with a man, from a dinner with your girlfriends.. We pay attention to the details, the shoes, the bag, the coat, earrings (and gladly discuss it for hours) meanwhile, he's probably completely happy if you slap on a heel and a cute (read short) dress.. everydaypeople

Like every morning the alarm rings at 07.30am and I go to wake up my daughter. Like two sleepwalkers we enter the kitchen and start to prepare the breakfast. Coffee for me, juice, milk, toast, yoghurt and bisquits, it all depends on the mood, but breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper is something I learnt when I was a kid, and try to follow, at least for the morning part..! A walk to school, kiss and goodbye, and I walk home passing the newspaperstand where I pick up the papers. At home, I sit in the kitchen, enjoying the silence and look through the latest news. Almost a holy moment. ...

Sweet tooth

It Italy today you celebrate the witch, Befana, that comes flying on her broom, bringing sweets to the good kids and coal (!) to the nasty ones. They say that the Befana is Father Christmas' girlfriend which I think is funny, because yesterday we saw her in person, coming to our house, and I tell you, she was     U G L Y.. hahahha, cannot even post a photo, so Santa, I think we need to get YOU a pair of glasses for next year..!...
