I'm going back in time flipping through the fairy tales with illustrations of John Bauer, a Swedish artist, painter and illustrator, born in 1882. He tragically passed away at only 36 years of age, together with his wife and child in a boating accident. I clearly remember the enthusiasm and curiousity I felt visiting the exhibition of his works with school. Returning to class, our teacher put on some classical music and we let our fantasy flow, drawing whatever came into our minds, inspired by Bauer's work. Fairytale moments...

Babyshower

Tonight we are celebrating our dear friend and future mum, with a babyshower, where we(the girls) bring gifts ( shower of gifts..) exchange babytips, eat, drink and chitchat, before the baby is born. It's a tradition celebrated all over the world, but not very common in Italy.. but there is always a great excuse to have a good time I always say! mama

This is the article from the Swedish magazine Mama for the March issue. The title says :" I am living the Italian Dream", referring to the tv program that I hosted for the Swedish television called The Italian Dream, where 5 couples wanted to fulfil their dream of opening a bed and breakfast in the Italian countryside. A couple won, after lessons in Italian, cooking lessons and a lot of work restoring the house, and they managed to open their B&B in Lapedona, in the Marche district. Finished early today at work, and you think, great, I can enjoy this magnificent sunny day.
