A little road trip took us to the small city of Norcia in Umbria. Pretty crowded on our arrival, but it's August after all, the busiest tourist month. Very cute town with lots of small shops offering local gastronomic specialties like lentils, cheese, truffles and all kinds of salamis and prosciuttos. I spare you the wild boar's heads on display everwhere. :( we passed by the lovely little boutique hotel Palazzo Seneca and went in for a look around and to check out a room. Tres nice indeed, even for a dinner or a drink in their charming atmosphere. We chose a local trattoria for lunch, Trattoria dal Francese, where we stuffed our faces like there was no tomorrow. Phew!
