Yesterday we filmed the new campaign for CBM Italia. It's a worldwide help organisation commited to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities in low income regions of the world. Alberto Burri, famous Italian artist, (1915-1995), born in Città di Castello, where a big number of his pieces are on display, all donated to the city. He played a key role in the Italian contemporary art evolution, and his art today is valued to extraordinary numbers. He wasn't very keen of selling anything at all, if he sensed that there was no love, but merely speculation, behind a buy, he would refuse to sell and send away the client. We admired the exhibition in the old tabacco factory, turned into a gallery, simply the perfect place for these enormous paintings. Very impressive. ...
