Yesterday we attended the concert of Franco Battiato in Spello, a wonderful little town here in Umbria. I had the opportunity to get to know the music and thoughts of Franco, during the time Daniele (Bossari) was writing his book, "Battiato io chi sono?" (Mondadori) Yesterday we had dinner (actually we ate, Franco stays very light before a concert) and he was in great shape, telling stories and entertaining us.  The concert, soldout, was amazing, and I got to embrace and thank him after, before seeing him speeding off towards another engagement.
