Samsara is a Tibetan word that means "the ever turning wheel of life". It's also the name of a movie I just had the pleasure to watch. The director Ron Fricke and co-writer/producer Mark Magidson attempts to explore the meaning of this word by an extraordinary journey around the world. Shot in 25 countries for over 5 years on 70mm film, using no other language but the images, (no narrator, no text) creating real poetry and leaving space for a very personal and strong interpretation.
