Parisian chic part 2

Yesterday I had the opportunity to meet Ines de la Fressange during the presentation of her book Parisian Chic, a style guide, written with Sophie Gachet. I brought my copy to the Roger Vivier shop, stood patiently in line (a queue is sacred for a Swede) even being surpassed by a couple of hot ladies, but in the end I managed to exchange some words with the lady of French elegance! I asked her if it's not a hard task teaching style to the Italians, being forever in competition with one another. She answered very politely that the young Italian women have a great sense of style, but the older ladies tend to exaggerate sometimes...

from the newsstand

I'm the paperboy this morning, distributing the fresh news hot off the news stand. I love the habit of  getting the morning paper (and other mag)on my way home from walking my daughter to school. I knew about this interview and was curious to read it. " Soon I will give my daughter a sister" says the headline.. Oh, greeeaaat, I shouted, before remembering that: wait a minute..I'm not even pregnant. Well lets say it's a work in progress...

caught with my hand in the jar!

Got to try the new, very delicious marmalades from Bonne Maman, and I don't need to tell you that they actually caught me with my hand in the jar, soooo good, I just couldn't resist the new figjam.. In this gorgeous backyard, yes Milan is all about discovering the hidden secrets, I also had a look at the news from the Fattoria Scaldasole, that produces all biological yogurts and juices.
