Continue readingYesterday I had the opportunity to meet Ines de la Fressange during the presentation of her book Parisian Chic, a style guide, written with Sophie Gachet. I brought my copy to the Roger Vivier shop, stood patiently in line (a queue is sacred for a Swede) even being surpassed by a couple of hot ladies, but in the end I managed to exchange some words with the lady of French elegance! I asked her if it's not a hard task teaching style to the Italians, being forever in competition with one another. She answered very politely that the young Italian women have a great sense of style, but the older ladies tend to exaggerate sometimes...
