Yesterday I had the opportunity to meet Ines de la Fressange during the presentation of her book Parisian Chic, a style guide, written with Sophie Gachet. I brought my copy to the Roger Vivier shop, stood patiently in line (a queue is sacred for a Swede) even being surpassed by a couple of hot ladies, but in the end I managed to exchange some words with the lady of French elegance! I asked her if it’s not a hard task teaching style to the Italians, being forever in competition with one another. She answered very politely that the young Italian women have a great sense of style, but the older ladies tend to exaggerate sometimes… Oh really??? I say, less is more…!

Il libro è davvero bello, pieno di consigli di stile ma anche di dritte turistiche per visitare Parigi in modo un po' alternativo. Un'ottima lettura 🙂

Sono assolutamente d'accordo con te, Filippa, e con Madame de la Fressange: LESS IS MORE! Lo dice anche Armani, che in fatto di classe ed eleganza è da sempre un maestro! Purtroppo, molte donne di una certa età, per non dire peggio, non capiscono quando è ora di smettere di giocare a fare le teenager, e ahinoi ci tocca vedere in giro dei mix di trucco+parrucco+abiti davvero abominevoli! Lo so che uno è libero di conciarsi come vuole, ma quando è troppo è troppo…

GRAZIE A QUESTO LIBRO HO SCOPERTO IL PLANETFIL, IL LIBRO è BELLO , LO TENGO VICINO AL MIO LETTO, MA MI è PIACIUTO TANTISSIMO ANCHE IL PLANETFIL DI FILIPPA, COMPLIMENTI
