No fashion this weekend. I like to throw on the things that I leave, and find, in my closet in the countryside. Wooden clogs or rubber boots if I need to go to town and a flower ring to complete the look.  No Tv around, but there's live national geographic. Smile. ...

I get up early and enter the kitchen to prepare myself a coffee. Opening the French windows I walk outside in the garden (wonderful being able to do that without using elevators, stairs, doors and metal gates!) and listen to nature. Lizards are moving about in the leaves and butterflies are dancing over the flowers. This is the best time of the day, before everyone else wakes up. Peace....

In today's paper they talk about where you do your foodshopping, what's more ecological and what people actually choose.  I love markets, the local veggie vendor and small shops where you have a personal contact with the owner, some chitchatting while picking out the freshest local specialities.  It's certainly also a matter of price and time, huge supermarkets offer a vast sortiment at lower prices, but it tends to get a bit impersonal. What's your choice? wearing@ vintage dress, cavalli&nastri, Milano ...
