83rd Academy Awards night with The king’s speech bringing home 4 amazing Oscars for best leading actor, Colin Firth(love him!), best picture, best directing and best original screenplay. I chose these picture to represent the night, when you share happiness and love, it tends to grow, so here are my couples… Colin Firth with Livia Giuggioli wearing a dress made by 11 creations from the King’s speech era, very green chic. Camila Alves and Matthew Mcconaughey, without a statuette but already winners in the lottery of love! (how romantic…) Anna Hathaway with and dressed by Valentino, and last but certainly not the least…the stunning and sweet Natalie Portman, with her Oscar in hand, sharing her joy with her costar in life, her baby to be!

Ma davvero 'Il Grinta' non ha vinto neppure un premio ?
Ho visto sia 'Il discorso del Re' che quello dei fratelli Coen e il secondo mi ha colpito molto di più.
Ho trovato che la rivisitazione del soggetto (è un remake di un film classico ma piuttosto convenzionale) e del genere western fatta dai Coen è intelligente, cruda, realistica. Forse non piace un western che ritrae ambienti, storie e caratteri per quelli che sono stati realmente ?
Mi aspettavo molto più coraggio nelle scelte dei giurati.Sarà che dall'America di Obama ci aspettiamo solo cose alte e nobili !
Adesso prendo un caffè e poi la mia piccola pausa è andata.
