Milano is, naturally, full of wonderful restaurants, trattorie and great winebars that I would love to recommend. Basically every saturday you can find me in the Trattoria Tagiura in via Tagiura. It’s a family owned restaurant that opened in 1963. Arriving, Signora Tullia greets you with a big smile offering lots of daily, simple, but tasty dishes in a warm and cosy environment.. It’s really hard not to go for the homemade tiramisu or chocolate cake for dessert, you need a pretty strong character for that…slurp! I took a picture of the old man sitting alone for lunch, he is an artist and some of his pieces are hanging in the restaurant.. I think he looks so sweet, and he was surprised and somewhat happy that I wanted to take his picture.. I would have wanted to have lunch with him..maybe next time!
