The daily, "dagens" is in Sweden very common, served all in one plate (not like in Italy where you first eat your pasta and then your meat and side dish). We found these three alternatives on the menu today: 1 perch with beet roots and potatoes x bacon with brown baked beans and onion sauce, potatoes 2 pesto penne with cucumber, rocket salad and prosciutto crudo on top...

Spent some time in the afternoon sun, enjoying a beer at J Nacka. You can easily reach it by boat from the city center and it's also a great hotel.. stayed there myself so I'm pretty sure..! You can even borrow  lifevests for the small ones during your  meal, perfect!   ...

Arrived in Nacka, just outside Stockholm, but we're practically in the countryside already. This is where I grew up, amongst trees, lakes and the ocean with the archipelago, nature has always played a great role in my upbringing. gelato at Aldo’s

Day spent at Skanör-Falsterbo, these idyllic villages 30km from Malmö, with tiny streets and houses, just like a movieset. It's a popular place in the summer having an amazing long white beach and crystal clear water. I put my feet in it today and was surprised to find it pleasant and not cold at all!!! After spending some time on the dunes in the sun, we went searching for icecream, finding Aldo, an Italian living in Sweden for many years, running the most famous icecream shop in the neighbourhood. Recognizing me from the Italian TV, he smiled from ear to ear, talking about his love for Italy and how life anyhow, is very good in Sweden. Hearing him speaking Swedish...
